Patanjali University, Haridwar Haridwar

The University of Patanjali is a brain child of Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishan with an aim to form a center which blends wisdom with knowledge. The university was formed in 2006 through the act of state legislature published in Gazette of Uttarakhand. It is located in Patanjali Yogpeeth at 18 km south of Haridwar in state Uttarakhand.

The University offers doctoral, postgraduate and undergraduate courses in various fields. More and more off-beat/vocational courses have been proposed and will soon be offered at the university campus. Some of them are-

• Hindustani music

The University of Patanjali conducts its own Admission Aptitude Test for admission in graduate and post graduate courses. The basic criterion to be eligible for the admission test is to minimum qualifying marks in the recent examination which is determined by the university authorities at the starting of every admission process.

How to apply?

The university offers many undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, post graduate diploma and PhD courses.

Online Application

Admission forms for entry in any of these courses can be filled online from the site of the university. Fill the forms, upload documents that are necessary and submit the form by paying INR 500 by using credit card, debit card and net banking.

Offline Application

For offline process, you can get the application form and prospectus by depositing a draft of INR 100 payable to the Patanjali University, or can also download the PDF of application form from the site.

After filling the form submit it in a self-addressed envelope with a demand draft of 500 rupees and Photostat of required documents to Registrar, University of Patanjali, Patanjali Yogpeeth, Haridwar-249405, Uttarakhand.

Admission Procedure

Students will be selected strictly on the basis of merit in entrance tests and aptitude test. Selected students will be called for counselling and will be allotted setas on after verification of documents.

CAMPUS FACILITIES

The university has two campuses Yogpeeth-I which has campus library with ancient books of yoga and Ayurveda and Yogpeeth-II consisting of 3 building one 200,000 sq. ft (yoga center), one 60,000 sq. ft (auditorium), one 40,000 sq. ft.

The university is properly equipped with research and development centers, separate labs for each department, gym, sports complexes,seminar halls, medical center, bank, parking area for visitors.

HOSTEL

Hostel facilities are available separately for both boys and girls with laundry, great water and electricity supply and strict security is provided for students.

Students are provided with mess facilities, transport facilities, postal services and even have access to WIFI.

The university provides aids and scholarships to students belonging to backward castes or need of funds.

STUDENT LIFE

The university provides students with InPlant training and students get to go for industrial visit.

The university organizes service-oriented activities like rural sanitation, horticulture promotion, health care management and many more.
