JNTU is a public university located in Kukatpally, Hyderabad. It was founded in 1965 as Nagarjuna Sagar Engineering College. Under the provision of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Act of 1972, it was recognized as a university. Much later in 2008, under the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities Act, the JNTU was split-up into 4 different universities-

Hostel and Facilities
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University covers a land area of 100 acres. The campus here has a healthy atmosphere. It has an eco- friendly atmosphere. There is a big Central Library with various books for various disciplines and research purposes.
There are separate hostels for both boys and girls. The University has 4 boys’ hostels namely Godavari, Kinnera, Manjeera, Krishna and 3 girls’ hostels i.e Kamla Nehru, Gayatri and Saraswathi. The hostels are well furnished and well organized with hygienic and clean mess facilities. They also have TV rooms, gym, reading rooms available for the students. The campus also has an auditorium.
The Institute is quite supportive and organizes a lot of cultural and sports events. There are playgrounds and courts for Kabbadi, cricket, Volley ball, basketball etc. The University is known for taking initiatives to organize more events and help the students to enhance their skills.

Remarks
Overall the facilities provided by the university are grateful stop this know that remark for the university from my end. They fulfill all the basic necessities of the students. Overall the facilities provided by the college are great. There are some pros and cons of every college but i think in this case the pros of the college are greater than the cons.
Entrance Exam
I got admitted based on my jee mains score. Also the candidates need to have at least 50% in there class 12th. I was always interested in mechanics and thus in mechanical branch was a very obvious choice for me.
Fees
The fee of the college is average. It is not that high and it is not that low. I have paid around 50000 per year including all the chargers.
Placements
The college does have of placements to the students. It has a placement cell which is very active and brings a lot of companies during the placement season. The most of the companies that came during my time were ITcompanies offering package offered was around 24 locks and almost 80% of the students got placed
Hostel and Facilities
Being a day scholar i don't have much information about the hospital but as far as i know the college does troy at hostel and also miss food. As being told by hostels the food of the hospital is average. There are also very easy trees around the college there for food is not an issue
Alumni
Yes the college has a decent alumni network and they also come to the college and providers insight about the industry there working for. They also tell us a lot of old stories about the college. The senior are cooperative and understanding
Faculty
Faculty of the college is great. They have been previous facilities of various top institutes like IIT’s and NIT’s. Most of them are always ready to clear your doubts no matter at what time. They also providers they personal contact details in case of any problem
Campus Life
The gender ratio of the college is almost the same. I personally think there's a lot of scope for more and more. Our college provides great facilities for good projects. Student association and anti ragging committees are also very efficient in the college.
Academics
Exam structure is of 25% from internal examinations and 75% from external exams. Internal exams are included along with our assignments and seminars and we felt quite comfortable with such exam pattern.
Internships
Internship at college had taught me very important lessons of my life and I could not be able to crack any MNC interview without certain help at internship .
Loans and Scholarships
If you have a good score you can apply for central or state govt scholarships .The Telagana state reimbursement is a great way to have a scholarship . Personal loans can be readily sanctioned by Andhra Bank . I did not get any of them though.
