Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Health Sciences is one of the leading health institutions in the country and was established in the year 1996 by the Government of Karnataka. The University has and excellent campus and is located over a 50-acre area.The University provides courses in all fields of medicine, includingalopathy, homeopathy, ayurveda and paramedics. The University has a student strength of more than 6000 and believes in instilling students with academic knowledge along with medical exposure.
