Bharati Vidyapeeth University was established in 1964 by politician and educationist Patangrao Kadam. It is a deemed university which has over 78 schools and 60 institution of higher education under its flagship.
The university provides courses in various disciplines like Medicine, Engineering. Management, Law, Arts, Pharmacy, Hotel Management, Agriculture and more. It has campuses in New Delhi, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Solapur, Kohlapur, Sangli, Satara, Karad and Panchgani.
The university has 4 campuses in Pune located at Katraj, Balewadi, Lavale and Kothrud. The katraj campus is the main campus of the university. It is spread across 85 acres of land and houses 24 colleges providing courses in various fields. Among them the most popular are-

The admission is based on various national and state entrance exams of the respective course. The university also conducts its own entrance exam.
Application and Admission Procedure
Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University (BVDU) gives admissions to the students through various national and university level entrance test:
- The admissions to the MBBS and BDS courses are based on the NEET score as per the norms of Supreme Court.
- M.Tech admissions are done on the basis of GATE score card.
- The admissions to all the other courses are done through the entrance test i.e. BVP Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the University.
HOW TO APPLY:
- To fill the online application forms of the University visit the official website of the college.
- Register on the website by filling in the basic details and then login by selecting the course name.
- Fill in all the required details and upload the scanned copy of all the required documents along with the photograph and signature.
- Then make the online payment through credit/debit card or net banking.
- If everything is done properly the candidate will receive a confirmation screen.
The fees of the application form is Rs.1500/- which can be paid either by online payment mode or through Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of “ The Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University,Pune” and payable at Pune.
In case of offline application, the candidate needs to send the form duly filled along with the essential documents like HSC,SSLC, community certificate (if applicable) including cash payment if done in person or Demand Draft if done by post.

Hostel and Facilities
Hostel
The university campus is spread over a huge area. There is a separate hostel for boys and girls. The strength of boy’s hostel is around 300 whereas only 200 student’s accommodation is possible in girl’s hostel. The boy’s hostel is only for 1st-year students and only engineering students are staying in the hostels.
The rooms are quite spacious and well maintained too. The students are staying there on sharing basis 3 in 1 room. Moreover, there is also a mess facility available from where students can get good quality food. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled where students can access the internet at 24 hours.
The university also provides many indoor table tennis, carom board etc as well as many outdoor sports like cricket, football etc. facilities. Apart from that, there is also a common Recreational room where the students can exchange their thoughts, discuss many things and they also do some cultural activities there.
Apart from these, there are well-equipped lab and library. There is some scholarship available for meritorious as well as economically backward students. The university is in talks with some of the leading corporate firms to sponsor scholarship programs.

Eligibility
1) 3 year Law Degree Course - A candidate who has graduated in any discipline from a recognized University can appear for L.L.B. course
2) Integrated Degree Program - Candidate must have passed 10+2 Higher Secondary Exam or an exam cosidered to be equivalnt to 10+2 Higher Secondary Exam can enrol for integrated degree program (LLB and a first degree in any other subject).
Candidates who have obtained 10+2 Higher secondary exam certificate or a graduate degree after taking up other courses through distance mode are also considered eligible for integrated degree course. But those candidates who have obtained 10+2 Higher secondary exam certificate or a graduate degree through distance mode or from open universities without any basic qualification are not eligible for admission into law courses.
Minimum marks for admission into law courses -
1) 40% for SC/ST candidates
2) 45% for other candidates
Remarks
Located in Pune and is one of the best in the City. Go to college are great and over the years college has maintained a steady teaching standard. It was also located very close to nature and thus great environment to study.
Entrance Exam
I got admitted into the college just days on my class 12th marks do some of my friends also give the universities entrance test that is BVP PU CET and were admitted based on the scores of that exam. Didn’t give any interview. Incline towards machine and that is the reason I chose engineering.
Fees
The fee for the courses around 1.2 lakh per year this does not include hostel fee. As compared to other private college the fee is pretty high. Also you need to pay around 10000 per year for miscellaneous charges such as admissions and library.
Placements
Placement when it comes to placement to colleges one of the top colleges in the city and a lot of companies visit during the placement season. Over 80% of the students get placed while other either go for their own business or pursue higher education. College has a dedicated placement cell which takes care which take care of the students during the placement season. Top companies top tech TCS, Indian Army, Barclays etc.
Hostel and Facilities
Hostel is provided by the college but has Limited seats with the necessary basic facilities . I stayed in the hostel during my first year but then changed to PG in the next forthcoming use. Cost you around 7 to 8000 depending on the locality also there are lot of good PG is available near the college. The room provided in the hostel are provided on the basis of single or sharing basis.
Alumni
alumni network which college is good and has a lot of members first time to stop it is completely online. Here you can connect with lot of seniors who are now in the nations top companies. I have a good connection with my seniors and love to talk to them because they helped me a lot in career as well as academic. The seniors are also good there is no ragging between seniors and juniors.
Faculty
Faculty of my department is great and is always helpful. Though there are some teachers were not that great and arrogant. Most of the teachers are qualified and well experienced. Dell Housefull 3 30 and try to put the same in student. The sum of them love passion and can't ditch beyond the syllabus and books.
Campus Life
gender ratio in the college is almost same to stop there are a lot of students from different states and this gives you an opportunity to meet with a lot of people and understand different cultures. Extra curricular activities and activities such as hobby classes, graphic, media, chess classes aim of these facilities is to reduce the pressure from the students and it is working. College should work on providing more good facilities.
Academics
college follows the semester system and all of the exams are scheduled accordingly. Exams are frequent and we get a lot of breaks between the exams which makes it easier and comparatively stress free. Practicals are not that frequent but theory exams are frequent.
Internships
internships are provided in III and IV year college dance provide internships. Internships are a great way to explore the industry before you actually get into the industry. Also internship differ from branches to branches. Branches like mechanical do not have it internship but do have industrial training from time to time. Most of the internship are paid but there are also some of the internship where you do not get any stipend. I also did my internship and was paid around 3000.
Loans and Scholarships
being a private University no scholarship is offered but as the fee of the college is high you can easily get loans from private as well as government banks to stop I did not take any loan or any scholarship was offered to me.

There is only good experience that i can share about this college as the college was fun not best moments of my life. I learned a lot here, made a lot of new friends, learned a lot about lies and responsibilities. The college has great stars and the fact it is also good. The management is very discipline and does not take any kind of discrimination.
Entrance Exam
They wanted to pursue MBA from this college it the CAT exam and got good marks and the stores this university as it was one of the best universities in my school. I scored 85 percentile in my cat exam.
Fees
The college fee is manageable in the MBA course all other universities almost charge a lot of amount and as compared to those the fee charged try this is also ok. Over that they all good scholarship to meritorious students and that brings the fee to very less and can be affordable for middle class parents.
Placements
The placement cell of the college brings a lot of companies come for placement and i also got place in ovarian out company. I am have very happy with my job and the placement i would completely vouch for.
Hostel and Facilities
Yes the college provides hostel facilities to the student. Being a day scholar i do not have much information about the hostels but from what i heard is that the facilities are good and it is not that expensive. Yes it also provide mess facilities as there is a dedicated mess for the students who provide goods food.
Alumni
There is an alumni network students can connect with. And aluminum meets arte organized every year and i had the opportunity to interact with. They were really nice and provided some interesting insights about my industry..
Faculty
Strength is very low but they have a lot of experience in their own field. Most of them have phd in there own subject. They're not only help me with the academics but also help me guide my career as i have always been a confused kids and it was very helpful to me
Campus Life
College always has some of the other extra curricular activities going in the college. This includes hostel party, freshers, farewell, ethnic day celebration. Is a mix of a lot of students from different states so that increase the learning experience.
Academics
Exam structure is update rigid and strict. Labs are good which makes practicals good. Exams are conducted on time as well as people checking and result chart given on time.
Internships
Yes i got to internship in a manufacturing company but i was not paid and its typing. But i do not have any regret about it as the learning experience there was maybe on any money can give me.

I don't know in the college provides loan or not but it for sure provide scholarship to mary tori students.
