Entrance Exam

I got admitted into the college based on my high school marks and the JEE main marks. Then I was called for counseling where I chose my branch.

Fees

The fee for my BE course is a lot. It charges around Rs 2.2 lakhs per annum which is a lot as compared to other colleges. But the college has a lot of facilities and is one of the top pvt colleges in the country therefore i took admission in this college. As the amount is huge, you can get easily get a loan .

Placements

Top recruitment companies are IMB, Wipro, TCs and more. Almost 90% of the student get placed. The average package is around 3 lakhs and highest is around 6 lakhs.

Hostel and Facilities

The college is ok but students can go for nearby PG’s as well as per their budget. The rent of the PG is around 5k depending on locality. The food of the hostel is not great.

Alumni

The alumni come for talks and workshops. They give us industry insights and other corporate information.

Faculty

The faculty uses modern techniques of education. All of the teachers are well qualifies and knowledgeable. They not only help us in class but also outside the class.

Campus Life

The college has a mix of student from various cultures, states and even countries therefore we get a good exposure. The college has strict anti ragging policies and racism policies. The college organizes a number of events and the college fest called ‘Grafest’ is the largests fest in the whole state. There are a lot of competitions and students are encouraged to participate in the same. A lot of celebrities are also invited to perform.

Academics

Just like very other colleges we also have mid sem and end sem exams. The students have to pass both of them. Students need to clear both theory and practical exams. Student with low attendance are not allowed to sit in the exam. The syllabus is prepared keeping in mind the upcoming trend in the respective industry. Faculty follow a set syllabus.

Internships

The college does provide summer training facilities to those students who are interested.

Loans and Scholarships

Top ranking students on the basis of JEE exam are given scholarships. Also once admitted in the college, the batch toppers are given some fee waivers.

Remarks

Overall the college is great and the management is also great. Just the management needs to focus more on the education loans and fee waivers as many bright students cannot afford the fee.

Entrance Exam

This is one of the best college sin the whole state when it comes to mca courses. For admission no entrance is required but you are supposed to have your bachelors degree from relative field and then you can just want in to the university with all your docuymnets and get admission.

Fees

The college is very cooperative when it comes of payment of fee. The student can pay the fee annually, half yearly or even once in 3 months i.e in installments. This helps a lot to students who do not come from rich family backgrounds.

Placements

The colleges’ placement cell prepares us for the placement season with mock interview and skill development classes. Over half the batch got placed in companies like hcl, tc, wipro. The package offered is around 2-5 lakhs.

Hostel and Facilities

Being a day scholar I am not much aware of the hostel details but most of my friends were happy there and the food was also good as per them.

Alumni

Alumni meets are organized almost every other week and here we get a chance to meet the alumni and ask them questions and also seek their guidance on our career. My seniors have been great they have been helpful in every situation be it in academics or personal. There is absolute no ragging.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is one of its biggest assets. They have been very kind and understanding. They treat all the students equally.

Campus Life

The college organizes a lot of events for students to participate in. There are various competitions going on and students who win are also given prizes. The gender ratio of the college is almost equal the boys are slightly higher in number. There are also various sports events.

Academics

The college follows the semester system and each semester there are 3 exams. There are practical exams as well therefore you have maintain the attendance in labs as well as they also carry some marks.

Internships

As per my seniors internship is mandatory in the sixth semester and students have to prepare a report and submit and some marks will be provided based on that.

Loans and Scholarships

The scholarships are provided to the meritorious students and university toppers. Though I have heard that this is a very lengthy process and it takes a lot of time for students to get the scholarship amount. I have no knowledge of the education loan facility but since this is a reputed university, private banks might provide loan easily. Though I did not take any loan or get scholarship.

Remarks

The college is overall good. The facilities of the college are average. The management of the college is very discipline and they have very strict ragging regulations. The atmosphere of the college is good just that the college makes a lot of changes in the rules and regulations.

Entrance Exam

The jee mains is the main requirement for admission into the college. Also who have not scored that well can get through the management quota. I scored 105 marks in jee and got admission into the college.

Fees

The fee for the btech program is about Rs 2.5 lakhs per annum. Compared to the status and reputation of the college the fee is a bit expensive. Also the candidates who want to hostels have to pay an additional fee of Rs 60k per semester. Though it provides a lot of facilities and the placement are also good so the students can also get good return.

Placements

The college does not have 100% placement but around 80%. Companies do come for placement but most of them are just average. Some of the companies are tcs, Infosys, ibm, Accenture, wipro etc. The average package is around 4-5 lakhs.

Hostel and Facilities

The hostel fee is around 60k per semester. The hotel is huge and it has over 4000 students. The rooms are provided on sharing basis. The hostel even has its own departmental store. The mess food can be made a bit better. Students can also go for Pg’s nearby.

Alumni

The college has alumni network and the seniors are there for you everytime you need any thing be it academics or otherwise. There is no ragging and they help us to become the better version of ourselves. Other than the faculties they are our closest career guide.

Faculty

The college has great faculty especially in the CS and IT branch. There is no language barrier as professors teach us both in English and Hindi. They are friendly with us and even serious when it comes to academics. They teach us though modern technology like projectors, smart classes tec.

Campus Life

The college organizes a lot of events. The gender ratio of the college is almost equal. There are a few competitions, events, workshops like linux , car, robotics workshop. It has very active motorsports team which participates in many competitions.

Academics

The college follows the semester system. There are mid sem and final sem exams. It has theory and well as practical exams. In the beginning it is very hectic but over the time you get used to it.

Internships

The college does provide internship it has tie ups with companies who come and hire students for internships. It also provides internships at a global level in various countries.

Loans and Scholarships

The college has tie up with some govt banks where students can get loan. Scholarship is provided to students who score great marks. Usually up to 70% and above. The amount of scholarship is based on your score higher your score is the more you get. One can get upto 15k as scholarships.
