Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences University established on 29th September, 2003 by the government of India. It is affiliated to the UGC Act of 1956 (Section 3), MCI, DCI, AIPA, RCI and INC.

The PIMS University is a part of the Pravara Medical Trust which was setup in 1978. The PIMS is a deemed university that provides that provides various UG, PG and doctorate courses in its following institutes:

• Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam College of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Center, Loni

The University campus is spread is spread over an area of 120 acres. It has comprehensive health care, sports and recreational facilities and hygienic canteens.

The Central Library has large number of printed documents, subscriptions to over 326 national and international journals. The library is also equipped with Wi-Fi with an excellent bandwidth.

The University has two boys’ hostels for 540 students in 203 spacious rooms and girls’ hostels with capacity of 1115 students in 556 rooms. The hostels have their own catering and mess facilities providing varied tastes.

The campus has ATMs of Central Bank of India, State Bank of India. Many other facilities like shopping centers, beauty parlors, etc. are present in the campus itself.

An amount of INR 1000 has to be paid in order to get acquire the form and it must be paid by means of demand draft drawn in the name of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni payable at Pune service branch.
