Fee Structure Of GIT, Anantapur-Gates Institute Of Technology

The institute was established in 2001 and is AICTE approved. It is permanently affiliated to JNTU Anantapuram.

The institute offers B. Tech courses in the disciplines of –Civil engineering, Computer Science and engineering, Mechanical engineering, Electronics and communication engineering and Electrical and electronics engineering.

Admission to these courses requires candidates to have minimum of 45% in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics combined together in the class XII examinations and they must also qualify in the EAMCET entrance examination.

M. Tech courses are offered in – Computer Science and engineering, VLSI and embedded systems design, Electrical power systems and in Machine design. For the M. Tech courses students must have a B. Tech degree and the merit in the GATE/ PGECET examinations is taken into consideration.

The institute also offers a two year full time MBA program and for that candidates need to get a good rank in the ICET examination.

Institute facilities- Well equipped hostels with dining facilities and uninterrupted solar power supply and medical aid with tie ups with local hospitals, own fleet of 19 buses, canteen, central library, surveillance cameras for the security of the students, anti ragging cell, , wifi , post box, internet library, departmental laboratories, lift for the physically challenged students entrepreneurship development cell.

The institute has an excellent training and placement cell and students have been placed with the following companies- Capgemini, HCL, Infosys, Syntel, Softtek and Invensis.

Hostel and Facilities

HOSTEL

The boy’s hostel is located inside the campus whereas the girl’s hostel is located in Gooty town (not very far from the campus).

A small store and transport facilities along with a female warden to take care of the girls needs are available.

The boy’s hostel can accommodate 250 students where the first year students are send to separate buildings to escape from ragging. College vehicle, surveillance camera, indoor-outdoor sports facilities are also provided.

CAMPUS FACILITIES

The institute provides uninterrupted power supply entirely in the campus including the labs and hostels with the help of a solar plant.

There is a seminar hall with indoor and outdoor facilities. The library has about 40,869 volumes and about 5604 Titles.

Campus has a neat and clean canteen which can accommodate around 250 students. Other facilities like post box, stationery shop and an entrepreneur development cell and elevator for the handicapped are available.
