Babu Banarsi Das Institute of Technology is situated in Ghaziabad,Uttar Pradesh.

The institute was established in the year 2000, and has been approved by AICTE.The institute is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul KalamTechnical University, Lucknow.

The institute offers admission in Bachelors and Masters Program.

The institute offers masters degree in engineering and management.

The institute has an on – campus 400 bed hostel for boys. All the major facilities like power backup, Wi-Fi connectivity etc. have been provided by the institute. There is an off-campus hostel for girls too.

The central library has more than 44,000 books and huge number of national and international journals.

Centrally air-conditioned labs are present, equipped with latest processors. The campus also has well maintained cricket, Basket Ball, Badminton, Foot Ball Outdoor grounds.

Application and Admission Procedure

How to apply?

The college offers bachelors courses in Engineering and Education along with masters in Engineering and Management.

The candidate applying should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with a qualifying percentage not less than 50% and he/she should have under graduate degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks for post graduate courses.

Mode of application:

Online: Candidates can get the admission form online on the college’s website. After filling details like name, address, caste etc and attaching relevant documents forms can be submitted online.

Offline: Forms can be collected from the college and submitted along with a demand draft of application fee in the favor of BBDIT, GHAZIABAD.

Admission Procedure

Admission are given on the basis of –

• B.Tech: Rank of UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam)
• M.Tech: Scores of GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering)
• MBA: Percentile CAT ( Common Aptitude Test)

Candidates are called as per their scores/ ranks followed by an interview.

Documents Required:

All the documents as per UPTU brochure are required during the time of admission including-

• 8 passport size colored photograph
• A family photograph
• Class 10^th mark sheet
• Class 12^th mark sheet
• Graduation certificates ( for post graduate course)
• Fee draft with three copies
• Migration and transfer certificate.

Hostel and Facilities

CAMPUS FACILITIES

The computer lab consists of the latest technologies such as Pentium-4 and i3 clients with TFTs and 20 mbps RF Link for Internet as well as licensed software. Each department has its own computer lab.

The library spans over an area of 1000 sq. m consisting of 44000+ books. The staffs and students can have access only with the help of library membership.

The college organizes sports, literature, social and cultural events. Indoor and outdoor sports are performed every year duringthe Annual Day, Republic Day, Diwali celebration and Holi Milan.

The on-campus gymnasium has latest equipments which can be used under the guidance of experienced Gym trainers. Meals are served from the college cafeteria.
