Fee Structure Of URCE, Krishna-Usha Rama College Of Engineering And Technology

Usha Rama College of Engineering and Technology falls under the affiliation of Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University (JNTU), in Kakinada and is located in Telaprolu, a village in Andhra Pradesh.

The college began to function in the year 2008 and has been accredited by the NAAC and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

The Institution offers 4 diploma courses, 10 engineering courses which include 6 B.Tech courses and 4 M.Tech programs.

The University screens students based on the EAMCET score for admissions into UG and uses GATE / PGECET score for selecting students for postgraduate studies.

The Campus consists of a well resourced library, computer laboratories, hygienic cafeteria and advanced research facilities. Students have several clubs and societies for programming, sports, cultural, literary, entrepreneur, personality development and many more for students to discover, and to gain knowledge.

Application and Admission Procedure

It is mandatory for the students to secure a minimum of 60% marks for getting them enrolled in the college.

The college has restricted the selection of candidates strictly by the basis of merit list only. To apply to the college the candidate needs to appear for the EAMCAT exam and clear the required cut-off rank set up by the college.

Students on clearing required cut-off set up by the college for the EAMCAT exam can apply directly to the college. They will be called for further counseling if they are selected.

Admission Procedure

• The qualifying exam for the students looking for securing a place in the college for M. Tech is GATE/PGCET
• Students who are interested in enrolling themselves to MCA than they need to appear for I-CET
• SSC and POLYCET exams are important for getting admission in Diploma courses.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel

The college provides hostel facilities for both male and female students respectively. The girls’ hostel has attached washrooms.

Mess facilities are also available for residents, providing healthy and hygienic food.

Security is also looked after, with several CCTV cameras having been installed in the hostel corridors.

A scholarship is also available for students who secured an EAMCET rank below 10k they are exempted from paying the hostel fee.

Facilities

The URCE campus is located in Telaprolu, near Vijayawada city in Andhra Pradesh. The campus is still under development, with two main blocks built in the shape of a “U” and an “R”.

Facilities such as a digitized library, a communications lab, a state-of-the-art computer center, a research center, seminar halls, transport facilities, a cafeteria accessible to all students, as well as indoor and outdoor sports amenities with a separate gym for boys and girls.
