VNITSW is an institute of technology and sciences based in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. The primary motive of Vignan Nirula is to "train young women able and eager to create and put into action such ideas, methods, techniques and information". The Institute is a dream come true of its founder Dr.L.Rathiah – an eminent educationalist who has re engineered the plus two education in Andhra Pradesh state. The VNITSW has been affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad and has been approved by the AICTE. It was accorded the A Grade by AP Knowledge Mission.

The VNITSW offers the following programmes –

B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Information Technology

MBA and M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and Embedded Systems

The VNITSW has a fully air-conditioned central library with a fully integrated multi user Library Management Software and a special enclave for research students, VNITSW also has a fleet of 8 buses, operating along six routes around Guntur with a total seating capacity of 700 students. Besides providing the bus service, the institute maintains a pool of two cars for meeting the transport requirements of the senior faculty. An emergency vehicle is available round the clock. Assistive Technology Lab’, ‘Project Lab’, ‘IBM – Centre of Excellence’, Texas Instruments Lab’ are some of the world class labs in VNITSW.

The Institution has managed to place its students successfully in Capegimini, TCS, Infosys etc.

Hostel and Facilities

Vignans Nirula Institute of Technology and Science provide hostel facilities to the students enrolled in the university. There are 3 hostels. The hostel rooms are well furnished and spacious.

The room accommodations are very well maintained; it has housekeeping services, telephone facilities and other all important facilities like Internet in the hostel. A mess with dining hall is also available; a kitchen is also attached to the dining hall.

The hostel also has a common room where TV with good cable connection is available. Wi-Fi facility is also available 24*7 for the students.

The students are instructed to fill the hostel application form as soon as possible after getting enrolled in the institute, because the hostel are allotted to the students on the basis of first come first serve.

Safety and security is also well maintained by the institute. CCTV camera is installed in the campus for maintaining better.
