HOW TO APPLY?
A candidate seeking admission to Aditya Institute of Technology and Management (AITM) are eligible for the same only if they qualify their 10th and 12th with minimum 45% marks with compulsory subject mathematics, physics, chemistry. They should have also secured a decent rank in the AP EAMCET examination which is conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State government.

Eligibility
To pursue MBA at AITAM students must satisfy following eligibility criteria.
The minimum qualification to apply for admission to the MBA Program is a Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3 years of education) in any discipline which is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, or any degree equivalent to the Bachelor's Degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the Secondary / Higher Secondary / Pre-degree Examinations (or equivalent) conducted by a Board / University.
Those appearing for the final year of the Bachelor's degree examinations may also apply subject to completing their examinations or viva-voce, if any, before June 30. Such candidates will however have to fulfil the above eligibility requirements in respect of minimum academic qualifications for admission and furnish evidence to that effect latest by October 31. At the time of interview and/or admissions, they will be required to produce a letter from their College Principal / Head of Institution stating the exam dates.
Candidates with appropriate industry experience will be given preference for admissions. Their work experience will be given due weightage in terms of the organization, position held and duration.
Admission Procedure
Selected candidates will be called to attend Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. Multiple Group Discussion & Personal Interview lists will be released in phases, both before and after the Application Deadline. The intimation for interview & group discussion is done through registered post and e-mail. In the case of some programs, Group Discussion may not be conducted, in favor of a rigorous interview process.
The selection criteria for calling candidates for admissions is based on multiple factors as follows:
- Past academic performance
- Quality & content of the answers in the application form
- Work experience, if any , in terms of job content & organization
- Group Discussion & Interview performance (applicable for final admissions only)
- Extra curricular activities, other interests & accomplishments
- Competitive Test score (CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT)
A combination of all the above factors are used to determine the eligibility of candidates to be offered final admission. Test scores are NOT the only criteria for selection.
A high test score does not guarantee a call for Group Discussion/Interview. The selection criteria are based on multiple factors as mentioned above.
Remarks
The management of the college according to me was pretty lazy. Though you will get to meet a lot of people some of them are amazing but some were also selfish. But I would credit this college for helping me figure out what I wanted.
Entrance Exam
I already scored really good in my higher secondary due to which i got admission easily clearing the entrance test. The college provides importance to extra curricular activities and not just academic education of the college. This focus on overall development really caught my eye.
Fees
The fee of the college is affordable by a decent earning families. Therefore even students who do not have a lot of money can obtain education here. Though for other courses the fee is a bit expensive.
Placements
Placements were really good. Though like other colleges the placement depends on the department as well. Even I got placed and m working from the very first day after I left my college after the final year.
Hostel and Facilities
The hostel authority is disciplined and the warden is pretty strict. The college provides hostel for girls as well as boys . Food provided by the mess is good. The college allows events like birthparties but nothing else. Smoking, drinking and drugs are not allowed.
Alumni
Senior students were really helpful. Even in academics and extracurricular too. Though you can face some ragging issued not probably but college has taken care of this thing and you have particular panel to talk to about any issue you will face.
Faculty
The faculty is reputed and has a lot of knowledge. They are frank and we all felt comfortable around us. They have technical knowledge as well. Some of them even helped us with career counselling as we were really confused.
Campus Life
The college focuses on extracurricular activities. The labs of the college are also good. Sports facilities are also provided for sports like badminton, cricket, basketball,etc. The debate is being organized by our teachers in our college and we participate in so much fun.
Academics
The college has semester system. The exam is conducted 2 times. There are pratical as well and if you dont study regularly it can be pretty hectic at times. Also, examination fee needs to be paid during exam time. Exam pattern was already discussed prior to examination with all the students in class and through the website as well.
Internships
The college does provides internship opportunities. Some companies do come for internship. But the students should be very focussful in the internship as it will come really useful when it comes to placement time.
Loans and Scholarships
No, I don’t think the college provides any scholarship and loan. But maybe they do and I don’t know. You should talk to the college admission office they might be able to help you with this.
