MVR College of Engineering and Technology has been established in the year 2008 by Swarna Group of Vijaywada. It is affiliated to JNTUK University.
The institute has been approved by AICTE and accredited by NBA. Tech (CSE) and also by NAAC & AP State Government with ‘A’ Grade. They are also an ISO 9001-2008 certified institution.

Campus life
MVR college of engineering and technology is located in the Krishna district, Anantapur which was established in the year 2008 spread across an area of 26 acres of land. The college consists of central library which is equipped with 3,473 titles and 19,903 volumes of books with online book renewal, book reservation. Digital library has 10 computers connected through LAN to access e-books, e-journals, e-learning, NPTEL videos.
The college has auditorium, health center, computer center, laboratories, cafeteria, hostel facility with mess facility, transportation to students, sports complex for basketball, volleyball, cricket, playground, complex for indoor games. The college has training and placement cell too.
Hostel
The college provides hostel facilities for boys and girls with WIFI facility and basic amenities like drinking water supply, electricity supply and mess facility. The hostel also has medical center for its students.
The state government provides scholarships for SC/ST and OBC students. The minority students are also given scholarships.
Student life
The college organizes seminars, workshops, cultural events, even departmental student association SPAARC. There are social societies like NCC and NSS too.
