Bhoj Reddy Engineering College For Women (BRECW) Hyderabad

Bhoj Reddy Engineering College for Women is an educational institute for women which was esablished in the year 1997 and is located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is run by a voluntary group which aims to provide the best quality education to the students with the objective of promoting female education.

The Sangam Laxmibai Vidyapeet group is a registered voluntary group which is working since the year 1952 for empowering the girls and women throught education. It has more than sixty years of experience in the field of education.

The campus of the college has a unique advantage of being located in the heart of the city and is free from any noise or dust pollution. The open space and the greenery is spread over 6.5 acres of land and it is an ideal ambience for the girls. The classrooms have LCD facilities for conducting lectures, presentations, seminars, tutorial rooms which is provided in every department. The campus accomodates an open air theatre which can accommodate more than 1200 students.

Application and Admission Procedure

Admission Process

There are three categories of students who can apply – The student who has been given a rank in AIEEE, the student who has been given a rank in EAMCET, the student who have passed and obtained not less than 45% of marks in the Intermediate (10+2) Examination.

For B.tech courses, the students should have passed HSC from a recognized board.

How to apply

• The candidates need to fill the online application form of TS-EAMCET and TS ICET online. The candidates need to visit the official website of TS EAMCET and fill all the details accurately.
• The candidates need to pay 500 INR for general category and 250 INR for the SC/ST category.
• In case of TS ICET, the candidates belonging to the general categories need to pay 300 INR for the registration and SC/ST candidates need to pay 250 INR via Internet Banking or Credit Card or Debit Card or through TS Online Centers/Citizen Service Centers, e – Seva Centers.

The documents to be attached are –

• Roll number of HSC/equivalent and SSC
• Proof of Date of Birth
• Caste certificate in case of SC/ST/BC candidates (if applicable)
• Aadhar Number of the applicant
• PH (for PWD candidate), NCC, Sports certificates (if applicable)
• Income certificate (if applicable)
• Residence or relevant certificate for proof of local status (last 12 years).

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel

The college provides hostel facilities for women only, as it is a women’s institution. They are not housed on campus, however, but are available within 200 meters of the campus. The college has made arrangements with private hostels which are very near to the college and exclusively for girls to accommodate the students of BRECW who need a hostel. Wardens are specially appointed for monitoring the hostel.

The rooms available are non-AC, and mess facilities are provided.

Facilities

The campus is located within the central area of Hyderabad, Telangana, and is spread out over 6.5 acres of land, with much open spaces and greenery.

Facilities include a well-stocked library, an indoor and outdoor sports and games center, an internet center, a canteen, good connectivity to public transport, well-designed classrooms and audio-visual aids, banking facilities, a canteen available to all students, and a postbox facility available on campus.
