About Us
With the motto of providing Quality Education, and thevision of creating the path to excellence, NarasaraopetaEngineering College (NEC) was established in 1998 andsponsored by Gayatri Educational Development Society(GEDS). NEC is approved by AICTE – New Delhi, thehighest sanctioning authority of Government of India, haspermanent affiliation to JNTUK and accredited by NBA, anautonomous body of AICTE.Narasaraopeta Engineering College (NEC) is located inthe suburbs of Narasaraopet, popularly known as ‘TheGateway of Palnadu’, a town with more than two hundredyears of history, and surrounded by famous religiousplaces like Kotappakonda, Guthikonda and Chejarla. Thecollege is approximately 40 kms from Guntur and theclosest airport is about 100 kms, which is in Gannavaram,Vijayawada.
NEC is situated in a sprawling 40 acres of land in a sereneatmosphere, beautiful landscape, spacious, ventilatedand airy buildings for lecture halls, drawing halls,laboratories, library etc. The college possesses 31,362 sq.mtr.s of buildings.With quality education, therefore, we at NEC have beenshowing our students the path to excellence andstrengthening their skill sets to achieve wonders in theircareers.
